The ATHENS COFFEE FESTIVAL couldn’t have found a better “home” to welcome both the companies participating as exhibitors and the unique happenings that will keep us entertained every day. After all, Technopolis City of Athens, located in the historic gasworks factory in Gazi, has become synonymous with hosting exceptional cultural events and festivals that leave a lasting impression.
Let’s take a tour of the Technopolis spaces so you can be prepared for what to expect—and where to find it—when you arrive at the festival!
Gasholder 1 – “Miltiadis Evert” Amphitheatre:
Get ready for hilarious moments with a series of unforgettable stand-up comedy shows!
New Furnaces:
Here, you’ll find the international booths of the festival. You can chat with industry representatives, discover new products, taste unique coffee varieties from around the world, and learn about the latest trends.
Purification Tanks :
This hall will host the 2026 Greek Roasting Championship, organized by SCA Greece. Be there for thrilling moments of joy, excitement, and, of course, lots of coffee!
Machine Works:
In this iconic building, the city’s industrial past meets modern creativity and coffee culture. The space will feature booths from participating companies and will also host the Preliminaries of the Barista & Brewers Cup Championships 2026, organized by SCA Greece.
Machine Works Courtyard:
This area will host booths from festival exhibitors. Take a stroll, grab your favorite coffee, and sit at one of the tables to enjoy it.
Central Courtyard:
The heart of the festival beats here! The Central Courtyard transforms into a vibrant and energetic space, featuring exhibitor booths where you can explore specialty coffees, equipment, and other excellent beverage options.
Outdoor Area:
Relax, play, and enjoy! The outdoor area offers plenty of opportunities for rest and entertainment. You’ll find tables where you can sit with friends and enjoy street food and your favorite beer in a cozy, welcoming environment.
Nearby, the Games Area is packed with action and fun: air hockey, basketball, football, strength games, and many more surprises await you to test your skills and have a great time! The space is complemented by selected exhibitor booths, offering even more tasty and interactive experiences.
INNOVATHENS:
A space dedicated to knowledge and experience in the art of coffee. Here, you’ll find specialized workshops and talks featuring expert baristas and professionals from major coffee brands in Greece and worldwide. Through presentations, tastings, and discussions, you’ll discover the history, culture, varieties, techniques, and secrets of coffee production.
Playground:
At the Iakchou Street entrance, you’ll find the Technopolis playground on your right. Right in front, you’ll see the Dance Floor, where you can enjoy concerts, live DJ sets from famous names in the Greek and international dance scene, and performances by beloved radio producers.
How to Get There
Technopolis City of Athens in Gazi (Address: 100 Piraeus Street) is easily accessible via the “Kerameikos” Metro Station, which is just 50 meters from the entrance on Iakchou Street.
During the festival, entry to Technopolis will be via Iakchou Street, while exit will be via Persefonis Street.
Apart from the Metro (Line 3, “Kerameikos” Station), you can also reach Technopolis via several bus lines (049, 815, 838, 914, B18, G18) and trolley line 21, using the “Fotaerio” stop on Piraeus Street.
Please note that Technopolis does not have parking facilities.
