Sofia & Ira: Stand up comedy… in generous doses!

The ATHENS COFFEE FESTIVAL is an experience that awakens all the senses! And this year, beyond the aromas of coffee and latte art, Technopolis was filled with… explosive doses of laughter!

Two of the most beloved women in the Greek stand-up scene, Sofia Moutidou and Hira Katsouda, took the stage at the Amphitheater and promise unforgettable performances. Because when coffee meets humor, the result is double the pleasure!

Unfiltered Laughter with Ira Katsouda

We experienced unforgettable moments of laughter with the one and only Ira Katsouda, who—with her subversive take on everyday life and her disarming honesty—gifted us a truly wonderful day.

The stage was filled with authenticity, humor, and moments of deep connection, as Ira masterfully transformed the simplest situations into sources of relentless satire and laughter.

With her signature style, sharp observations, and directness, she made us laugh, reflect, and exclaim, “Yes, that’s exactly how it is!”

From societal expectations to the quirks of daily life, Ira deconstructed everything with humor and sensitivity. Her performance proved that stand-up comedy can be both a mirror of society and a powerful tool for empowerment.

Stand-Up, Signed by Moutidou

Sophia Moutidou lit up the day with a fiery two-hour performance packed with laughter, truth, and raw talent. With her irresistible directness and boundless humor, she transformed the stage into a whirlwind of theatrical madness, where satire, self-deprecation, and social commentary blended masterfully. The audience couldn’t stop laughing, applauding, and engaging in an experience that felt more like a heartfelt confession than a typical show.

From everyday blunders to society’s most pressing issues, Sophia stripped them down with her signature subversive style, making us laugh and think at the same time. Her punchlines — unpredictable, sharp, and always spot-on — felt as if she was reading the audience’s mind, creating an atmosphere that hovered between theatrical monologue and authentic stand-up comedy.

It was a performance that left no one untouched. A powerful reminder that Sophia Moutidou isn’t just a gifted performer — she’s a voice that dares, provokes, and inspires. A true force on the Greek stage.
