The top professionals in the field compete in the semifinals and finals of the Coffee Roasting, Barista, and Brewers Cup championships, competed for the title of Greece’s champion.

For three days we experienced the excitement of the competition up close, met the people behind these exceptional creations, and discovered the new trends shaping the future of specialty coffee.

The Athens Preliminaries of the 2026 Barista Championship revealed the 3 big winners, who will compete in the final: 1st place Michalis Katsiavos, 2nd Penny Chalkiadaki, 2nd Apostolos Damopoulos.

At the same time, the Athens Preliminaries of the 2026 Brewers Cup Championship revealed the 3 big winners, who will compete in the final: 1st George Papantoniou, 2nd Dimitris Baigkousis, 3rd Thanos Klouvatos.

The final of the Roasting Championship 2026, highlighted the top three: 1st place Thanasis Angelopoulos, 2nd place Thodoris Galazoulas, 3rd place Bellis Nikos.

The 1st winner will travel to Brussels on June 25-27 to take part in the final that will take place as part of World of Coffee Brussels.
