The 9th Hellenic AeroPress Championship, sponsored by Minor Figures, returns on Sunday, September 27, at the Athens Coffee Festival, on the hunt for the next Greek AeroPress Champion.

Baristas, home brewers, and coffee lovers from all over Greece will compete using exclusively an AeroPress, vying for the chance to represent our country at the World AeroPress Championship 2026, taking place this December in Mexico City.

It is the largest and most widely celebrated coffee competition where professionals and amateurs compete on equal footing—as it’s not uncommon for passionate home brewers to stand out against seasoned baristas.

Even if you aren't competing, it’s worth experiencing in person! Brew battles, exceptional coffees, music, unforgettable moments, and the traditional gathering of the Greek coffee community make this one of the festival’s most beloved events.
